The Historic Old Salt Lake Tribune Building gets an Infrared Energy Audit

The Historic Salt Lake Tribune Building in downtown Salt Lake City has been sold and will be converted to a computer science school and residence for 400 students. The old brick exterior was found to be in great shape and the infrared energy audit and blower door test pin pointed the holes, cracks and openings that need to be sealed. It was a pleasure to walk around the gutted offices of was once was a busy newspaper. The building was built in 1921 and if these walls could talk you would hear news of the Depression, Wars, Assassinations, Scandals and Catastrophes.

Alamo Infrared is the leader in large commercial buildings, residential and government energy audits.
