Grant Money - Idaho $11.4M and Utah $14.1M From DOE - EERE

The Department of Energy - Energy Efficiency & Renewable Energy has awarded $204 Million for State Energy Programs in 10 States. http://apps1.eere.energy.gov/news/daily.cfm/hp_news_id=175

These grants are for state and local governments to improve energy efficiency in residential, commercial, public education and government buildings. The state will provide financial incentives to low-income housing developments and commercial and government buildings that perform energy efficiency upgrades. For instance, low income housing units will qualify for free insulation upgrades.

For city, county and state buildings the first step is to have UtahEnergyAudit conduct a Infrared Energy Audit and Blower Door test by Utah's Original Energy Auditor. We have the equipment and high volume calibrated blower door systems to perform energy audits on very large buildings, schools, universities, warehouses and auditoriums.

If you are in the process of receiving DOE Government Grant funding for Energy Audits and Energy Efficiency contact us with RFP as soon as possible so we can get your audit completed as soon as possible.

After successful implemtation of these original grants, there will be an additional $21 Million in additional funding.
